M&C SAATCHI plc announces Board changes:

 

Lloyd Dorfman, our Senior Non-Executive Director, has informed the Board of his intention to retire from the Board on 31 December 2015. Lloyd has been a member of the Board since float on 7 July 2004 and is the Chair of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit and Nomination Committees.

 

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Lord Dobbs as a non-executive Director with effect from 1st January 2016.  On appointment, Michael will join M&C Saatchi's Audit and Remuneration committees.

 

Lord Dobbs is Britain's best-known political novelist and the author of the House of Cards. He is an active member of the House of Lords. He was Special Advisor to Margaret Thatcher and following a period at Saatchi & Saatchi, returned to the Conservative Party as her Chief-of-Staff and then became Deputy Chairman under John Major.  He has also been a current affairs presenter for the BBC, and a columnist for both the Mail on Sunday and the Daily Express. He has a doctorate in nuclear defence studies.

 

Adrian Martin, a Non-Executive Director, has also informed the Board of his intention not to stand for re-election at our next AGM (June 2016). Adrian has been a member of the Board since our float on 7 July 2004 and is Chair of Audit Committee and member of Audit and Nominations Committee. A successor will be announced ahead of the next AGM.

 

We are pleased to announce that Jonathan Goldstein will assume the role as Senior Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee from 1 January 2016. Jonathan joined the Board in 4 May 2010 and is a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
